Bullying

Hello again :)
We'll I'm back with like a follow up on my haters blog post because someone asked me to do one with a bit more detail and I think that sometimes sharing experiences with each other actually helps someone else who is going through the same thing as you did.

Firstly, I would like to state a fact that everyone gets bullied. Whether you're an unknown or the most popular person in the world. Take this as an example: If you're the most popular girl in the whole school, there are bound to be people who are unconsciously/consciously jealous of you, or people who hate the fact that you're popular cause they don't think you deserve to be, those who are irrtated/annoyed, there are bound to be people calling you a slut, whore, bitch, mean etc etc but that's just because not everyone is going to have the same views as you do and different views just results in conflict.
Okay, take it the other way around. You're a loner, no friends, no one even notices you at all, no one wants to partner with you, you are always alone. There are bound to be people who may or may not say it in front of you that you're a loser, no one likes you, no one wants to be near you etc etc
SO NO MATTER WHO YOU ARE.
I THINK THAT EVERYONE FACES THIS BULLYING/HATING PROBLEM at least once in their life.

We all experience bullying at some point in our lives. Well now, because of technology, bullies are able to use modern communication methods like phones, social networking sites to target victims. This is the most common type of bullying, cyberbullying, which I believe is because with the internet, you can be anyone you want to be, there is a barrier between the bully and victim. This makes bullies feel more secure that they won't get in trouble or like they feel less guilt? Being an anon also makes bullies think that their tracks are covered, they won't get caught and it will make the victim seem like even strangers are hating on them, which makes them feel much worse. Actually if you believe it or not, 1 in 4 students get bullied in every classroom. Every classroom there will be a divider of cliques and everyone just usually sticks with their friends but I actually find that quite saddening. Because what if your clique decides they don't want you, then who do you have left to go to? We are all so separated in our small groups that once we are out of the group, we feel lost and insecure. That is why I feel like teachers and schools always try to have this need for class bonding sessions or events to help bring the class together. But all my school life, I never ever see that actually work. :(
Victims of bullying usually suffer from depression, whether the depression is just thoughts or if it's at it's extreme where self harm is involved, it's still depression and I believe that no one should go through that or even have the thought of escaping life by suicide.

RANDOM FACT: Bullies have 1in 4 chances of facing criminal chargees by the age of 30--- studies shown by the uk

If you or a friend is being bullied, you should really go tell someone. No that doesn't mean you run around the whole school trying to find a schoolmate or a friend to tell. I mean like really tell someone. And I frankly think that the best people to tell to is your parents. You parents don't have to storm down to the school and embarrass you and try to protect you. But just let them know that you'd like their support and hope that you aren't going through this alone. I get that parents can be such a nuisance sometimes but they are the ones that will never leave your side. They are your blood and families stick together, I don't think your parents would betray you or anything like that. I know some people have problems in confiding with your parents. I admit that I had the same problem when I got bullied. I thought I could handle things myself and I didn't want to tell my parents as I thought it was embarrassing to tell them. But after my parents found out I was very down every day, things were different and they found me crying a lot at home, they started to ask me why and I explained to them what's been happening. My parents are really harsh with what they said back HAHA but their words are true and logical.
My mum said "Kylie, why are you so stupid for crying and bothering about these shitty people. They are useless in your life. Crying about this is not going to change anything. You know something to cry about is like if our family goes bankrupt or someone in our family died. Stop giving us your sad and black face every day. We give you so many privileges, only for you to come home, cry and not talk to us."
That kind of sank into my head. At first I thought my mum was being very harsh and mean because she didn't ask me if I was okay or did I get hurt and she didn't comfort or hug me at all. But her words soon came to make sense to me. Like why am I wasting tears and time over people who don't have to be part of my life. My parents give me everything and I come home everyday looking depressed. It just makes them feel like they aren't being good parents when they actually are. But that took me a long time to figure that out! HAHA
The bullying actually started with people calling me skinny, anorexic, bulimic, ugly, loser, fuck face, dumb etc. Which I thought were all true at first, but then I realised, I wasn't anorexic or bulimic. I was skinny because of my metabolism rate. I was born with this face and I don't want to do anything to it because I don't want to look the same as someone else. I don't want plastic surgery to have the same eyes or cheekbones as someone. If this was what god gave me, then it shall be what I deal with and receive happily. I always tell myself, thank god I'm human and not some alien species living on planet jupiter or something that cannot experience the amazing life, technology, scenery and wonders of living on earth. No matter how cliche "Life is beautiful" sounds, it's actually true. It just depends on how you look at it.
As I grew older, I got bullied by girls AND boys. Boys made me feel more insecure than girls. They would call me ugly, worthless and all the words like slut, bitch, whore came into the picture and that really upset me because I knew I wasn't a slut, whore or a bitch. And during this process, I guess I developed some defensive mechanism where if someone insulted me, I would do the same things back. That's probably why I was called a bitch. I am not proud of what I have done but it's something I have to live with and deal with cause whatever's done been done. SO I WOULD STRONGLY SUGGEST people not to do what I did. It worked for me but it's not really a method you would want to try because more people who didn't even hate you or like you (neutral) would begin to hate you because you become some mean person, you become the bully. AND THAT IS SMTH WE DO NOT WANT.
WHY?

BECAUSE WE ARE TRYING TO STOP BULLYING.

I literally thought people would go after me and really bully me but until now they really never did. People purposely got me in trouble when I didn't do anything, so I had to deal with that. Everything that made me smile or happy was lame and the bullies would just try to ruin it for me. I think that most bullies bully because of insecurity. THEY ARE INSECURE OF THEMSELVES. Because if you know who you are and you are very sure and confident that you are strong and better than another person, why would you waste ur time telling others that they suck, they are losers, they are low people, worthless? You won't have the need to insult others just to make yourself look good or feel good. My school is with a lot of rich families, people who live in town with the expensive houses and etc. I do carry branded bags because I share them with my mum or like my mum gets them for me because she thinks I'm performing well in school and that's kind of how she wants to reward me. But I get comments saying like all the bags are fake, I am fake, I am "POOR AS HELL" and other nasty comments.
I'm sure I'm not the worst one who got bullied. There are many many other people who get bullied physically and mentally every day with no one to care for them until they turn to suicide. So to those who are bullied, I would like to say to stop pitying yourself and do something about it because that's the only way to stop the hurt. Ignore the haters and the bullies. Just stay out of their way, don't purposely run into them. If you argue back with them, that's kind of giving them what they want. Unless you push the right buttons and hurt them back... but that's not the point because we are trying to STOP BULLYING. SO IGNORE ALL OF THEM. SHUT THEM OUT. THEY DO NOT NEED TO BE PART OF YOUR PRECIOUS LIFE. I know it's upsetting but when you grow older, it's not a big deal. You're going to look back laughing at why you put yourself through depression, why you cried for them, why you bothered caring what they thought of you.

I think the best ways is to find something for you to escape the hurt. NOT SUICIDE OR SELF HARM. I don't wish to see anymore teens cutting themselves or killing themselves. I have people telling me and spamming me nasty comments every day, some even includes killing myself. But don't look at those comments, close the window and delete them all. You will feel better once you don't have the mean comments visually in front of you. Music was my escape really, I started writing songs and usually when I'm happy, upset or angry, I listen to music and calm myself down. Even crying while listening to music really helps because finally something can relate to me.

I know these are all just a bunch of words to some people but I truly understand how people who are bullied feel like. I think that it's very hard to be happy with yourself because we are so young and still trying to figure out who we are so when someone comes in and say we are ugly, horrible, disgusting, ew, a lot of us would take that to heart and feel hurt.

You aren't alone in this world, everyone is going through the same thing as you. You just have to go through this phase in your life and if you learn how to deal with it, you'd be a better person! So start smiling and raise that head up high and be proud of who you are. Don't change yourself for just a few people out of the millions out there. Stay true to yourself and just let the loved ones come in to your life.

GOOD LUCK! xx

SNACKING HEALTHILY

Hi I guess most of you think I'm so thin that I don't eat. NO NOT TRUE. I actually snack like 4-5 times a day and sometimes even past midnight. I always feel hungry and it's crazy sometimes. I don't want to gain unnecessary fats, I wanna gain nutrients and etc even when I'm eating so I usually stay away from potato chips, gaseous drinks etc.

So right now I'm going to introduce some HEALTHY SNACKS which I actually make for myself all the time! So maybe you guys can throw away that junk food and replace it with these if you wanna keep fit, healthy and slim! :)

1. Granola and Yogurt + FRUITS
So like you can get any type of yogurt you want, get low fat yogurt or smth ahaha then you put some granola which are the nuts! and you can even add some fruits like raspberries, blueberries, apples, bananas, strawberries! IT TASTES AS YUMMY AS IT LOOKS I SWEAR. There are so many different combinations! Go try it out!

2. VEGETABLE JUICE

I know I know, some people don't like the taste of vegetables and frankly, I'm not such a big fan of them either but I need the nutrients they have! So I usually blend them up together with fruits like apples to make the juice sweeter and to take away the vegetable taste! Here's an example!

that is Spinach and apple juice :)

This is 1 cup of carrot juice, 1 ripe medium banana and 1 cup of ice! (it's a smoothie though)

3. FRUITS

Always always snack on fruits. It's super easy! you just grab all your favourite fruits from the market and go home, dice it all up, put it in a large container, mix it well and refrigerate it! Every time you feel hungry just take out that huge container, scoop some fruits into a bowl and eat it! It'll be cold, fresh and yummy.

That's all I really snack on right now. If I have more awesome healthy yummy tasting snacks that I find out or came up with! I'll let you guys know asap!

YAY FOR HEALTHY SNACKING!

GOOD LUCK! xx

Haters.

I am blogging about this because someone asked me to write about how to deal with haters. Since many people go through this problem, even my friends, I decided to share my experiences and ways that I find that has helped me. Maybe in doing so, you can resolve yours.
First things first, haters will never go away that's for sure. Everyone has haters and everyone hates someone. No one is liked by everybody because everyone has a different opinion of people. Haters hate because they feel like you're doing everything wrong(disagree on how you live your life etc.) or sometimes it's just jealousy or they just don't find anything in you that they like. That's very normal and common. So I keep this very simple in my mind. If i hate someone, I won't put them in my life and I'll just not be associated to them at all. It really all depends on a person's maturity level. Whether you are mature enough to just not go online and torment a person and move on with your life OR start being some anon and just say bad things/even use your own personal accounts to comment horrible nasty things to others.

As a result haters are actually bullying and it's usually cyberbullying because humans feel that we can't be found or hurt in the cyber world. I'd just like to say that I have friends who cut themselves because of what anons or people say about them online. Most of the times what these haters say are all just made up rumours. Girls, we always use and throw around words like bitch, slut, whore like we just don't care but when you say it to someone, they feel really hurt. It's like you called them smth bad when in actual fact, they aren't. Sometimes haters just have nothing to say about your personality and just start commenting on your outlooks, saying your ugly, you need plastic surgery, your face makes me wanna vomit. ew. YUCK. etc etc.

Yea I usually get comments about how I look. All my haters just criticize my outlooks but I really don't care because I was created this way by God. I don't believe in plastic surgery so I learn how to embrace my flaws. I work with what God has given me. I believe every girl wants to look pretty and be beautiful inside out. We all are jealous over models and tumblr girls. But we all look different. Every model is different, every girl is different but they embrace what they have and that's what makes them so beautiful. I always say every girl is beautiful because it's true. Once you have a beautiful heart, it will show on your outlooks. If you don't like the way you look, do something about it (not plastic surgery) but like if you find that you dislike ur body shape, go exercise, have selective diets ( don't become anorexic though), you don't have a flawless face? take care of your skin more, spend more on facial products that will help. MAKEUP WORKS WONDERS. I've seen many girls wear contacts, a little eyeliner goes a long way. There are so many ways! But do this not to please others, but yourself. Just because one person said you're ugly, your eyes are too small or smth doesn't mean you go change it. It's not worth changing yourself just for that bunch of stupid haters. There are other people out there who loves you for who you are, maybe you just haven't met them yet. Everyone, especially girls, go through this hate thing because we are all very emotional and we sometimes just wanna insult others to feel better about ourselves.

I guess to deal with hate is to ignore. At first it's going to be quite hard because you will feel that no one cares and no one loves YOU. and like ur never good enough. But you got to look at the bigger picture. Those are only words of a few people. You have lovely friends, a lovely family and if you know that you're not a bitch/slut/whore. Then why are you so upset? Just delete, block them so you won't see those comments anymore. Once you have confidence in yourself(not cocky) people will realize that you're confident in who you are and that your personality is amazing. But of course there will still be haters that are gonna insult you. But those are just words.

There was this one time people kept asking me to kill myself because I was too ugly. I really almost did . But I have such a caring family and a small group of lovely friends that it wasn't worth it. Instead of looking and caring about what the haters say, look at what your friends think of you! :) Keep calm by idk listening to music? Venting on the guitar? I sing to express myself. Or hang out with friends so that you don't feel so alone.

You can't get rid of haters. Everyone will have them. But learn to deal with them and adapt to the situation! Be strong, be who you are and if people don't love you for you. I WILL <3 HAHA but i'm sure there are a lot of people out there who wouldn't want you to hurt yourself or feel this way because of haters.

If you need to ask me anything else you can just go to

I would be happy to help and hear you out :)

KEEPING FIT AND THIN!

I've been getting a lot of questions on how and why I am so thin and frankly, it's all because of my super high metabolism rate! If you believe it or not, I don't skip meals, I don't go on diets, I don't starve myself, I snack every night and eat more than 3 meals a day! HAHA
I get a lot of people telling me I'm too thin and it's really not attractive while others telling me they love how thin I am and wish they can be as thin. I guess being too thin is really unattractive but I'm seriously not doing anything on purpose to be thin. In fact, now I am trying to gain fats!

So I'm just going to blog about what I usually do that I think that contributes to my high metabolism and how I am skinny.

1. WATER

WATER IS GOING TO BE YOUR BEST FRIEND. ZERO CALORIES AND IT'S CHEAPER THAN YOUR SOFT DRINKS.
I know everyone would have probably heard this saying where you have to drink like 8 glasses of water every day. But guess what? It's true and frankly I can't seem to do that. So what I recommend is to bring a water bottle to school then you won't have to buy drinks during recess and you can drink it during classes. Exercising will also cause you to be thirsty so that will make you drink more water while keeping fit! Also, have a glass of water before and after meals! In that way, I'm sure that you would have drank more than 8 cups of water every day! or you can just set a timer in your phone remind you to drink a glass of water :)

BENEFITS OF WATER:
1. It increases your metabolism rate
2. It flushes out toxins from your body
3. Higher chances that you have a healthier body
4. Weight loss because you substituted soft drinks for water
5. It hydrates you and keeps you energized!
6. Reduce digestive problems

2. EXERCISE

I found this online and I do this all the time at the gym instead of keeping to the treadmill.
If you don't know what are the crunches, don't worry! There are a variety of them below!

I found this online as well and I do follow them because it has worked for me :) This the leg exercise!

WANT A THIGH GAP?

I usually do the saddle bag buster which is basically raising your legs up and down while lying on the side of your body!

For arms, I do weights but not heavy ones because what I want is basically toned arms instead of bulky arms! So I would grab a 2kg?

3. YOU ARE WHAT YOU EAT
I'm sure a lot of people have heard this quote before but it's very true. I think your diet plays a part in becoming thin. When I say I snack every night, doesn't mean I snack on junk food all the time. I munch on some fruits or have some yogurt. I also think if you feel hungry all the time, prepare a box of fruits in your fridge. So that every time you feel hungry, you can just eat the fruits that are already been sliced and fresh. I don't recommend girls in their teens especially if you're below 18 to go on diets. It's our puberty stage and you need all the nutrients you can get to grow tall, build stronger bones etc. Don't eat less, just be selective on your food. Eat salad, more vegetables, fish, meat and fruits. Personally, I really hate vegetables so my dad helps blend them with apples and I drink it. That way I can be healthy even if I don't eat my vegetables. :)
Don't skip breakfast, that meal gives you the energy for your entire day! I really really think that we shouldn't skip meals! I think every meal of the day has it's purpose! So if you really wanna slim down, just be selective on your food choices, exercise regularly and make water your ultimate best friend forever!

It's really that simple! Just be diligent and you can achieve anything you believe!

GOOD LUCK! xx

Makeup Foundations

WHAT FOUNDATION SUITS YOU THE BEST?
People do ask me what type of foundation I use and what brand is the best. However, what foundation I may use may not be one that suits your skin type. I'm not some makeup expert but there's are some things I picked up from friends experiences and learnt while experimenting with different brands/types of foundation. So today I'm going to tell you all the different types of foundation available.

1. Oil-free foundations
What I found is that most of these "oil-free" foundations aren't actually "oil-free". These foundations always contain oils or other ingredients that acts/feels like oils, like silicone. They dry on the skin with a matte finish, usually you won't get a dewy look. They do appear thicker on the skin and have no shine.

Good: It's a good choice for people who want coverage that has no shine. They last longer on people with oily skin!

Bad: It can make your skin look dry and it may be flaky! (but this is only found in oil-free foundations that contain talc)

Example: Clinique Stay-True Makeup Oil-Free Formula
2. Liquid Foundations
This type of foundation isn't oil-free either! They suit people with normal to dry skin the best!!

Good: It suits people with normal to dry skin as this kind of foundation allows eyeshadows, blushers and bronzers to blend on effortlessly and evenly on the skin. Mistakes are easy to erase as it can be buffed away.

Bad: Not a good foundation type for oily or combination skin. People with oily/combination skin, when they wear this type of foundation, it can make their face show a lot of shine immediately.

I use this type of foundation and I actually recommend it to a lot of people as I find it creates a beautiful glow on the skin and it prevents darker skin tones from looking ashen. If you don't like the shine, you can always use powder after putting on the foundation!

Examples: Mac Studio Fix Foundation
3. Oil-based Foundations
Obviously these foundations have oil as one of their ingredients. They tend to feel greasy and thick, they always look greasy on the skin which makes the foundation sheer when you blend it.

Good: Suitable for people with extremely dry skin/wrinkled skin. It will help them look dewy and moisturized, which minimizes the appearance of wrinkles.

Bad: They tend to turn orange on the skin because the oil in them affects the colour in the foundation. The typical way to apply this foundation is to actually use a damped sponge so that it goes on your skin thinly, but that can also cause the makeup to leave behind streaks. Even if you apply powder after it, your face would look "cakey" and you will look like you're wearing very heavy makeup.

Examples: NARS Balanced Foundation
4. Pressed Powder Foundations
They look like a pressed powder, but they have a bit more coverage and is able to stay put on the skin. They usually have a silky, creamy feel to the skin when applied and can be blended easily.

Good: Suitable for people with normal to oil/combination skin. They last throughout the day and doesn't change colour. It doesn't feel heavy on the skin. It's also best for those who wants minimal feel and appearance from their foundation. They work well over sunscreen as it takes down the shine.

Bad: If you have dry/flaky skin this isn't suitable for you. It is a powder foundation thus it will be too drying for someone with dry skin. It also may cause oil resurfaces on the face during the day for people with very oily skin.

Examples: M.A.C. Studio fix Powder Plus Foundation

5. Stick Foundations
They come in a stick form. They can be used as a concealer and usually have a wider selection of shades when sold.

Good: Blend on quickly and easily. Has medium coverage. Works well for those with normal to slightly dry/slightly combination skin. They don't require a powder to set.

Bad: If you apply powder, it may give you a cakey, heavy look. It makes people with oily skin look more oily.

Examples: L’Oreal Quick Stick Long Wearing Foundation SPF 14

6. Gel Foundations
They come in a gel form, easy to blend and it stays on the skin very well. It's easy to spread all over the skin. It covers redness very well.

Good: Suitable for combination skin, it's very easy to blend and coverage is medium. It feels very light weight on the skin.

Bad: It doesn't cover blemishes and scarring totally so you would still need concealers. It doesn't last all day and it's not really oil-controlling.

Example: Maybelline Aqua Gel Foundation

I don't believe that these are ALL THE FOUNDATION TYPES. But these are the ones that I know of and know information about. Right now, I don't always use foundation as it clogs up your pores! But when I do wear foundation, I use the Mac Studio Fix, The No Foundation Foundation by Perricone or the Maybelline Aqua Gel Foundation.

GOOD LUCK! xx

GIRLS ASKING GUYS OUT?!

idk why but i decided to start my first blog on this issue about "Girls asking guys out on dates". This is probably because if you're a girl, you'll probably have friends around you that rant to you all the time that they like this guy but they don't know if he likes her back etc. and she's shy.

Normally, I would say most girls will NOT go up to the guy and actually ask him out.
Probably because:
-scared of rejection
-scared to embarrass yourself if he doesn't like you back
-scared you're not good enough
-scared there's a better girl
-scared that he already has someone in mind
-scared that when you open your mouth, the words don't come out/you say something stupid.

so BASICALLY WE GIRLS- not all of us, ARE AFRAID.

so let's ask ourselves

IS IT BAD FOR GIRLS TO ASK GUYS OUT?

answer: no.

SHOULD GIRLS ASK GUYS OUT OUT?

answer: YES.

Girls should and can ask guys out on dates if you like him of course. Girls we are now in the 21st CENTURY. There is no wrong in girls asking guys on dates at all. However, I understand some of you disagree on my opinion but even if you disagree, ask yourselves; IS IT WRONG?

Women in the past, has fought for our present people to have an equal footing with men. So, why would it be wrong for a girl to ask a guy out? I think that girls who actually have the courage to ask their crush out deserves a clap.

Those who thinks it's not wrong but still won't do it, I don't blame you. It's pretty hard for starters and you'll feel weird, and like something obviously bad is going to come your way. But I think with friends supporting you and having inner courage to stand up for yourself, you'll be facing your fear in no time ;)

And to those who have a problem with this and thinks that it is wrong: STOP ASKING FOR EQUALITY.

Also, some guy friends tell me after girls have confessed to them, sometimes they feel the same way and it takes the pressure off them. Even guys who have rejected girls feel that it was brave enough for the girl to come up to them and ask. Guys really respect those kind of girls. Girls that takes her stand and has confidence in herself.

I know we are influenced a lot by movies, books that we read, tumblr pictures etc. It's always about the guy asking the girl out, flowers, romance, sweet, happy ending. I guess if you want that then you'll have to wait very long unless your guy is very confident and not shy in asking you out. But it's totally up to you.

I have asked a guy out myself before. I admit it's very heart racing but he did say yes and we did go out for one date. It didn't work out afterwards because after that one date, we realized weren't really that compatible as we thought we were. But he did say yes. So if you know this guy for quite some time and you have feelings for him, and you're not sure if he feels the same or you think that you're friendzoned. JUST ASK. PLEASE. Even if it's a no, at least you know it and you take the pressure off yourself. Who knows? Maybe he says no now but after some time he realizes you're amazing, beautiful inside and out, confident and have a great personality. He just might come running back saying yes ;)

OUT OF TOPIC: For me personally, I think that with social networking websites these days, a lot of people ask each other on dates or "will you be my gf/bf?" online. Frankly, I don't like it. Because you don't see eye to eye with each other, you don't have the spark in between if you actually ask in person. I think that asking out someone in person is more romantic, sweet and it shows that you really love them.

but this is only how I see it, it may not be the way you see it but I think there's some logical reasoning to my opinion on this topic!

GOOD LUCK! xx
